- Debit on Basic Credit Card - This alert will be sent whenever authorization is done for a transaction and is debited to your credit card
- Supplementary Card Spending - This alert will be sent whenever authorization is done for a transaction and debited to your supplementary card
- Payment to Card Account - This alert will be sent whenever a payment has been posted to your credit card
- Card Renewal Notification - This alert is to notify you on the renewal of your credit card
- Payment Due - This alert will announce you 2 days before the payment due date regarding your total and minimum amount to be paid, and the payment due date
- Reaching max credit limit - This alert will be sent when you have used at least 90% of your credit line.
- Statement issuance - This alert will provide you with your credit card statement details - total amount due, minimum amount due, and payment due date on the next day after your statement date
- Current/ Saving Account Balance - This alert displays the available balance in your current/ saving account at the end of period selected
- Debit Card - merchant transactions - This alert is triggered by any debit card payment at merchants
- Incoming funds transfer in foreign currency - This alert is triggered by any incoming funds transfer in foreign currency received in your account
- Incoming funds transfer in Lei - This alert is triggered by any incoming funds transfer in Lei received in your account
- Outgoing funds transfer in foreign currency - This alert is triggered by any outgoing funds transfer in foreign currency initiated from your account

- Debit Card - ATM withdrawals - This alert is triggered by any ATM cash withdrawal initiated with your debit card
- Account with negative balance - This alert is triggerd whenever your account has a negative balance, due to unauthorized overdraft
- Scheduled transfers not carried out - This alert is triggered whenever a scheduled transfer on your account is not carried out
A monthly flat subscription fee of 5 Lei is applicable for both credit card and banking alerts.

What is Citi Alerts Service?
Citi Alerts Service is an electronic messaging service that allows you to receive notifications specifically regarding your bank and/or credit card account. The alerts are sent through SMS, email or both depending on the type of notification you specify upon enrollment. -

Can I update my customer profile or change my subscribed alerts?
Yes, you may update your Citi Alerts Service profile anytime. Here's how:
a. Sign on to Citibank Online and click on Citi Alerts Service menu on the top navigation bar.
b. Once you are on the Citi Alerts Service menu, you may enter your changes in the Customer Profile page or Account Alerts page. The changes will take effect the next working day. -
How will I receive my alerts
You can choose to receive your alerts through email, SMS or both. -
How often will I receive my alerts?
Depending on the type of alert subscribed for, you will receive the alert once a month (e.g. Statement Due) or every time there is a specific transaction on your account (e.g. Large Amount Debit). -
Do I have to pay for this service?
There is a monthly flat subscription fee of 5 Lei for subscription of both credit card and banking alerts. -
Will I still receive my alerts whenever I travel?
You can receive your alerts anytime, anywhere through your e-mail. To receive SMS alerts when you travel, please ensure that your mobile service provider activates your roaming facility. You will be responsible for any fees charged by your mobile service provider or Internet Service Provider in receiving your alerts. -
What should I do if I do not receive an alert I have subscribed for?
For alerts which are transaction dependant (e.g. Incoming/Outgoing Funds transfer), please login to Citibank Online and verify if the transaction has been successfully completed. In the event, you have not received an alert, please call our CitiPhone Banking at 0800 801 040 and report this. Kindly note that we will investigate the root cause of the issue and revert back to you within a week's time.
