How to apply

Eligibility criteria

Accepted profiles:

Minimum / maximum age limit:

• Employees and retired: 25-62 years
• Professionals and private undertakers: 25-62 years
• Additional card applicants: over 14 years

Residence

The applicants will be Romanian citizens, i.e. with permanent domicile and workplace in Romania. Foreign residents in Romania may also be accepted.

Minimum net monthly income:

• Employees: Lei 1500
• Retired: Lei 1500
• Professionals and private undertakers: Lei 1500

• Resolutions of the General Shareholders' Meeting in the last two financial exercises addressing the allotment of dividends as published in "Monitorul Oficial" - in copy certified as true to the original
• Applicant's bank statements attesting that the said dividends are officially in the applicant's ownership - in original form, signed and stamped by the issuing bank

How do I apply for a credit card

Contact us at 0800 800 333 or fill in this form and ask for a Citi Card. The Citi representative will meet you to collect the required documentation. You can also download all these documents to speed up the procedure or you may come to any of our locations - you will find all the addresses you need in the Contact.

You will receive the credit card by courier as soon as it is approved and issued. Simple as that!

Grace Period

Did you know that you may use your Credit Limit without paying any interest?

Citi Card offers you a free-interest grace period up to 54 calendar days (if the transaction was carried-out on the first day of the reference period) for all commercial operations.

 All you have to do is to reimburse the due amount in full until the end of the grace period.

The grace period also covers the payment of utilities by CitiPhone.

The grace period will not apply to cash withdrawals.
