What is an e-Statement?
An eStatement is an encrypted PDF file of your Consolidated Bank or Card Statement, which is sent by email to the email address you registered. You need a password to open the encrypted PDF file of your eStatement, which comes as an attachment to your email. It can also be downloaded by logging on to Citibank Online. -
Is the information in my statement protected?
In addition to requiring a 6-8 character password to open any eStatement sent to you, part of the account number is masked by X. The password protects your information from unauthorized access. Do I need to install any software to view the e-Statement?
You will need Adobe Reader version 6 or later to access, view, and print your e-Statement. If you do not presently have Adobe Reader installed on your computer, please visit www.adobe.com to download Adobe Reader. -
When are statements sent?
We send eStatements on a monthly basis, with the eStatement covering the period of time up to the end of the previous month. If there has been some transaction on your account, such as a deposit or withdrawal in the month, or if you have a Time Deposit or Mutual Fund account, we will send an eStatement to your primary email address. -
Can I print my e-Statement?
You can print your e-Statement by using the Adobe Reader "Print" function from the "File" menu, or you can press the "Print" icon found on the Adobe Reader tool bar. The quality and method of printing will depend on your default printer setting. -
Will my e-Statement look the same as my previous paper statement?
Yes, your e-Statement will look similar to your paper statement. -
Can I receive both e-Statements and paper statements?
No, you cannot apply for both e-Statements and paper statements. You can request for re-issuance of your paper statement by contacting CitiPhone Banking -
What is the file size of an e-Statement?
The e-Statement document will be compressed so that it does not exceed 100KB. -
Can I change the email address for my eStatements?
Yes. You can change both your primary email address (email Address 1) and your Secondary email address (email Address 2). Sign on Citibank Online, select "e-Statements" from the menu on the top and then select "Change eStatements" to make the necessary changes. Alternatively, you can call CitiPhone Banking.
Problem with e-Statement

I have not received my eStatement. What should I do?
Please check to make sure that your primary email address is correctly registered. Also, make sure there is sufficient available space in the Inbox of your email account. If you are using a spam filter, please change the settings in advance to ensure that you will be able to receive email from "citi.com". Also, please change the settings in advance to ensure that you can open email from "citi.com", even if it goes into your spam folder. -
Even though I was using my account last month, I didn't get an eStatement. What should I do?
Sign on to Citibank Online, select "e-Statements" from the menu on the top and then select "Change eStatements". From the menu that appears, check that your primary address is registered. Alternatively, call CitiPhone Banking. -
I received my e-Statement, but the images are not displayed properly.
In some e-mail programs, there is an initial setting to block images. Generally, clicking on the "display image" button will allow you to view the images on HTML e-mail. However, please note that ways to display images may vary according to e-mail programs. For details, please contact your E-mail Service Provider. -
The eStatement I received is garbled and I cannot read it. What should I do?
It is possible that there is a problem with your email service provider or your browser settings. Change your browser setting to use Unicode (UTF8) encoding.

Adobe Reader is free software and is required to view your e-Statement. Note: In order to view your e-Statement, your computer must have the latest version of Adobe Reader installed. -
